How Do I Get Involved

image015 - CopyBryan’s Dream Foundation is an all-volunteer organization, established in 2006 in memory of Bryan Opremcak, who lost his life to a brain tumor at the age of 12 after a courageous battle with the disease. His legacy is this foundation, started by his parents, Nancy and Tim Opremcak, and the mission is to provide hope and support to children with brain tumors and their families.

There are many ways to become involved with the work of the foundation:

Organizations and individuals can provide sponsorships and donations to the Foundation, with recognition provided in appreciation for your generosity.

The annual fundraiser gala, “Night of Hope & Dreams,” held every March at the Forest Lodge in Warren, NJ, is an opportunity to donate auction items for the live and silent auctions, attend the event, and volunteer on the committee to help solicit auction items from the many generous businesses and individuals that support the event.

The BTO Annual Lacrosse Tournament fundraiser, started in 2006, by Bryan’s lacrosse teammates, is held every May at Mountain Park in Basking Ridge, NJ, and hosts lacrosse teams from the surrounding communities. All proceeds raised from the tournament are to benefit the Foundation.

Volunteers are needed to help with the BDF Holiday Giving Program, held every November/December, including shopping for children with brain tumors and their families, wrapping and delivering the gifts and gift bags to hospitals, and making fleece blankets.

I’d like to get involved!
